The canopy is treated for UV protection as well as fade and water resistance. Vent on the top is designed to promotes air flow, allow for the umbrella to combat high winds, it will be more stable. Velcro straps helps keep the canopy secure when closed and the travel bag with shoulder strap makes this beach umbrella very portable.
